CBSE Class 12 Evaluation Criteria 2021-22 has been submitted to the Supreme Court. You can check the tabulation policy from the official website, https://www.cbse.gov.in/ or from the direct link shared below.

In the detailed criteria as shared, marks scored by students in their Class 10, 11, and 12 would be considered in the ratio of 30%, 30%, and 40%. 
As in 30% from 10th, 30% from Class 11, and 40% from Class 12.

The Document Says: the assessment of class XII should be a composite measure that reflects the students' performance in school-based performance in class XII and class XI exams and results of the performance in best three subjects out of main 5 subjects in class-X Board exams, duly moderated as per the policy.

CBSE Class 12 Result 2021 would take into consideration the marks scored by the students in Class 10, 11, and 12. The marks for the Class 12 practical exams, however, would be taken as it is. 


Now, for class 12, there are different subjects that have different break up of Practical and Theory marks. Students need to understand that only the theory portion marks would be calculated using Class 10 and 11 scores.

This is going to be done on the basis of the table given below.

Explaining the same further, say the student who has Physics, Chemistry as subjects. Paper for these two is divided into 70 and 30 marks for theory and practical each. Now, say the student has scored 30 in practical. Now, to assess the marks out of 70, 30% or 21 marks would be considered from Class 10, 30% or 21 marks from Class 11, and 40% from Class 12 assessment – as per table 1 parameters.

CBSE Class 12 Result 2021 Evaluation Criteria: Important things to know

1.       CBSE Class 12 Result 2021 would be released by July 31 and schools are required to submit the marks by July 15.

2.       Moderation of marks, like in Class 10 would also be done based on historical data of the school

3.       Students would be the breakup of the marks as explained in the tables below. For the theory portion - the papers that were canceled, the students would be marks as per the 30:30:40 ratio and the marks of the practical exams would be used as it is.

4.       The Supreme Court has in principle accepted the proposal submitted by CBSE for calculation of marks. 

5.       If students had 5 subjects and two had a 70:30 split and 2 had an 80, 20 split while the 5th was a 50,50 split, the marks would be calculated as per table two for each individual subject. 

CBSE Class 12 Result 2021 is expected to be announced by July 31, 2021.
